Artist's Comments

Well, this is my first crack at Photo Manipulation, and I'm fairly happy with what I ended up with. I still feel like it's missing something...I'm not really sure what. Even so, it took me a good chunk of time to finish. Time that should've been spent writing a paper. Ah well, I'm glad I found something art-wise that I can do well enough so that the end result doesn't make me want to jump out a window screaming. I know I still have a way to go, but I'm proud of myself for making this on my first try.

Just open it, and then copy and paste it. If you want to discuss this further, please send me a pm.

That looks great. :) Gonna do more?

I think the 'missing' part is the depth around the nose, or lack thereof. It's flat there. Next time try bringing out the facial curves more. :)

Thanks for the credit as inspiration. :aww:

Yep, I plan on doing more in the future. It was fun creating this one. :)

Yeah, I think you're right about the nose. I just don't know exactly how I would go about correcting that...

Anyway, thanks for the fav! :D

You must do more, yes. :D

At this point, to correct the nose, I think you'd have to redo the original layer use the burn and dodge brushes to give the nose depth.

And... you're welcome. :)

Funny thing: only two people on my watch list commented on mine. I think I scared them.
:iconmayakashi:
Hehe, it was a little scary, but I liked it. In fact, I'll go comment on it right now. :)
